Audrey E. Ford 88 “the last Monarch of Red Rock” died Thursday at Community Hospice of CMH. Hudson,N.Y. Mrs. Ford born November 3,1921 in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. is the daughter of the late Arthur and Bessie (Pitcher) Osterhoudt. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in Hyde Park, N.Y. She married the late Kenneth W. Ford moved to Red Rock in 1943 where she has resided since. Mrs. Ford was a member of the Red Rock Fire Co. Ladies Auxillary, Red Rock Historical Society Served as President of the Red Rock Cemetery Ass. A good natured, Thoughtful and Loving person, she loved bird watching and offered piano lessons. Mrs. Ford is survived by a son Kenneth A. Ford of Sumter, S.C., Daughters Noreen Ford of Stephentown, N.Y., Nancy Ford of Ballston Spa, N.Y, Diana Novosel of Hadley, N.Y. and step daughter Betty Helliwell of Red Rock. Survived also by 11 grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Monday 12:00pm from the Wenk Funeral Home Chatham, Calling hour will be Monday 11 – 12.
