Biography

Margaret Elizabeth Wilder Craft, 84, died Thursday, January 14, 2010, at the Barnwell Nursing and Rehabiliation Center, Valatie. The daughter of the late Donald John and Ida Mae (Akin) Wilder, she was born on August 31, 1925, in Chatham. She was a homemaker. She is survived by husband Henry J. Craft and brothers Richard J. Wilder of Cape Cod, and Jon R. Wilder of Claverack. She was predeceased by a sister, Vera W. DeGroodt. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Monday, January 18, from 11 a.m. to noon at the Wenk Funeral Home, Chatham. A service will follow at noon. Interment will be in the Union Ghent Cemetery.
