Anthony (Tony) L. Quirino 62 of Kinderhook owner and operator of Crandell Theatre in Chatham died suddenly Sunday at Albany Medical Center. Mr. Quirino born July 28,1947 in Sheffield, Alabama is the son of
Anthony H. Quirino of Boynton Beach, Fl. and the late Minnie Lee (King) Quirino. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army during Vietnam as a mechanic specialist and had been awarded the Bronze Star. Mr.Quirino owned and operated an Auto repair shop Tony’s Ardco in Ballston Spa for several years. He was employed with Chatham Electric for several years but his most endearing and proudest endeavor when he took over the family business in 1985 The Crandell Theatre in Chatham which has owned and operated since. He enjoyed Harley Davidson motorcycles and was a man that could fix anything. He recently enjoyed the hobby of faceting gemstones. Besides his Father Anthony of Boynton Beach, Fl. Mr. Quirino is survived by his wife Sandra (Biondi) Quirino of Kinderhook, Daughters Andrea Leah Anadio of Manhattan, Amber Akers of East Nassau, N.Y. brothers Robert M. and Shannon T. Quirino both of Chatham,N.Y. Granchildren Caitlin, Jonathan, and Anthony, Step Grandchildren Tyler, Thomas and Olivia and 2 Nieces. Funeral Services will be Friday 10:00am from the St James R.C. Church Chatham Calling hours will be Thursday 2- 4pm and 7-9pm from the Wenk Funeral Home Chatham, Interment will be in the Chatham Rural Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Chatham Fire Dept.
