BiographyAlmeda H. Pulver 76 of Highland Rd. Old Chatham, N. Y. died Tuesday peacefully at her home with family at her side. Mrs Pulver born October 5,1933 in Berlin,N.Y, is the daughter of the late Myron and Marbry (Moses) Horton. She graduated from Averill Park H.S. (Class of 1951) She was employed with the Pen Factory in Hoags Corners, N.Y. and later for many years was a Postal Carrier for United Postal Service in Valatie, and Old Chatham, N.Y. Mrs Pulver’s hobbies included Seamstress, Gardening, painting, cake decorator, floral designer, birdwatching and wildlife enthusiast. She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years Chester F. Pulver Jr. . She is survived by a son Robert Pulver Daughters Marbry and husband Stephen Gansle, Marion and husband Fred Chavin, Karen and husband Rick Leggett. Brother Arthur Horton and sister Terry King. Grandchildren Matthew and Zachary Pulver, Ashley Gansle Kevin and Marsha Chavin, Stephen and Brian Leggett. Mrs. Pulver was predeceased by brothers Lewis and Wallace Horton. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday 2 -4 pm from the Ghent Reformed Church County Rt. 22.
