Anthony Derek Wayne Mulligan, known best at "Derry" or "Tony", 78 of Canaan, NY passed away Saturday, November 22, 2014. Mr. Mulligan was born in Ghent, NY and is the son of the late Tyler Gleason and Frances Ella Jones. He graduated from Chatham High School. Derry was a US Air Force Veteran and teamster member. Derry was also a 3rd generation farm owner, although, the farm was non-working in his later years. Mr. Mulligan is survived by 5 children: Linda Wilson, Anthony Mulligan, Jr., Darlene Cowden, Brenda Grock and Gordon Mulligan. He is survived by 3 siblings Vivian Austin, Diana Zacarolli and Lawrence Mulligan. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his sister Grace Dennison. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 26th, 10:00am from the Wenk Funeral Home, Chatham. Interment will be in the Ghent Union Cemetery, Ghent. Calling hours are the evening of Tuesday, November 25th, 5 - 7pm.
