Antonia S. Russo 94 a 30 year plus resident of Chatham died Saturday at her residence. Mrs. Russo born July 5, 1920 in Italy is the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Carolina (Cervi) Sabatini. Having spent 50 years in the U.S., she is predeceased by her husband Gennaro Russo and her sister Maria Cristina DeMarco and her husband the late Gerardo DeMarco. Mrs. Russo was a devoted Catholic being a communicant and great supporter of the St James R.C. Church Chatham. She was an avid gardener and walker both admired by many. She was always willing to be of help to anyone in need selflessly. Mrs. Russo is survived by her step-son Anthony Russo and a Niece Maria DeMarco both of Chatham. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday 11:30 am from the St James R.C. Church Chatham. Interment will be in the St James Cemetery.
