Bartholomew Dowd, 62 of Fuera Bush, New York passed away in the early morning of August 3, 2023. He was surrounded by his family and friends when he went to be with the Lord our God.

Bart was born on July 9, 1961 in Norwalk, Connecticut, and later moved to Feura Bush, New York,  He attended Ravena Coeymans Selkirk High School. He was known as the quiet one but was usually just deep in thought. He was a meticulous carpenter/builder who took great pride in his work. He also loved gardening, hunting, sugaring and just being in nature. He found his greatest peace hunting with his brothers and friends or on a tractor at his childhood farm. With all of this in his life, his greatest joy was the birth of his daughter Alyssa Jane.

He is predeceased by his parents Joseph Patrick Dowd, and Fedela V. Dowd, his brother Timothy Scott Dowd, Brother in Law Fred Shenn and Sister in Law, Mary Dowd

He is survived by his beloved daughter, Alyssa Jane Dowd,

Siblings Patrice, Joseph(Mary); Kelly(Margaret); Liam; Toni-Marie(Richard); Carmine; and Kate(James), as well as 14 nieces and nephews.
