Carmela Wolfe of Valatie, NY joined our Savior on December 23rd, 2023 after her journey of 97 years. She passed peacefully with her family at her side at her home.

Carmela was born on August 26th, 1926, graduated from Chatham High School and later graduated from Business College in NYC. She was a "Stay-at-Home Mom" and later dedicated over 45 years to Callander's Nursery, leaving an enduring mark on the community.

She is preceded in death by her parents Aniello and Angelene Moccio, siblings, Raffaela Mesick, Francis Bowes, Angelo Moccio, Frank Moccio, Spencer Moccio, her grandson, Christopher Reardon and daughter-in-law, Christine Callander. Carmela is survived by her loving daughter, Donna Callander, sons Fredrick Callander and Derek Wolfe (Jeannine), and sisters, Mary French and Teresa Every.

Her legacy lives on through her grandsons Derek and Todd Reardon, granddaughters Kathryn and Emily Wolfe, and a multitude of nieces, nephews and great-grandchildren.

May her nurturing spirit and enduring love continue to resonate in the hearts of those she touched.
