Carole Ann Bergen, age 79, of Hillsdale, died Friday, November 23, 2018 at Columbia Memorial Hospital.  Carole was born on January 19, 1939 in Atlantic City, New Jersey, the daughter of the late Frederick and Edna (Perry) Duncan.  Carole worked as an administrative assistant at the RCA Corporation for many years and also ARI in Moorestown, New Jersey.

Carole is survived by her husband of 52 years, Harry E. Bergen of Hillsdale; a daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and John Sullivan of Holliston, Massachusetts; two granddaughters, Nora and Margaret of Holliston, Massachusetts; and her brother, James Duncan of Westborough, Massachusetts.

Carole thoroughly enjoyed her retirement.  She was an avid golfer and enjoyed playing in the league at Copake for many years.  She volunteered for the Hillsdale Library and at Christ Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Chatham.

Visitation will be held at the Wenk Funeral Home Chatham Wednesday from 4-6pm   A funeral service will be conducted at the Christ Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Chatham on Thursday at11:00am.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
