Connie Sue
Milroy
Sep 30, 1961 — Jul 26, 2025
We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Connie Sue Milroy of Austerlitz. She passed away on the morning of July 26th after battling a long illness.
Connie was born on September 30, 1961 in El Paso Texas to Carol June Conklin (Dickerson) and the late Raymond Conklin Sr. In 1998, Connie and her 2 children relocated to Austerlitz NY and made their home with Scott Quinn Sr. and Pat Quinn and their family.
Connie loved animals, especially horses and cows, tag sales and their seasonal camp at Fox Hill Campground. For 20 years, Connie was a manager at several local McDonald's Restaurants, including East Greenbush, Valatie, and Hudson before retiring due to her illness. Connie was also an Elvis fanatic. Connie was anxiously looking forward to the birth of her first granddaughter Lilah, who is due to be born in 2 weeks.
Connie is survived by her mother Carol Conklin, her brother Raymond Conklin Jr, her son Quentin (Clarissa) of East Dubuque, Illinois and her son Elijah of Wynantskill, NY as well as her niece Amber. She also leaves behind her extended Quinn Family and all of their many siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins. Connie was glad to be part of the Quinn Family since moving here.
Connie was predeceased by her father Raymond Sr. and her infant Daughter Kelly Ann.
Friends and Family are invited to attend calling hours to be held Saturday August 2nd, 2025, from 11am to 1230pm at Wenk Funeral Home, 21 Payn Avenue Chatham NY. A brief funeral service will be conducted at 1230pm. To honor Connie's love of Elvis, we are inviting attendees to wear a flashy boa or scarf like Elvis used to wear when performing. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
Thank you to all the first responders and personnel that responded to assist in our time of need. We are forever grateful for your efforts.
Per Connie's wishes, in lieu of flowers, memorial donations in her memory are requested to High & Mighty Therapeutic Riding and Driving Center, 71 County Route 21C, Ghent NY 12075 or to Columbia Greene Humane Society 111 Humane Society Rd. Hudson, NY 12534
