Obituary

It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Diane Rose Russo (Nee Esposito), age 71, who left us peacefully on January  11, 2020 after many months of suffering and illness. She was born April 7th, 1948 in Brooklyn, New York to Rose and Anthony Esposito. She married the love of her life, Daniel S. Russo, on December 16th 1972, and celebrated 47 wonderful years together.

Diane was educated in the Brooklyn public school system and a graduate of New Utrecht High School.  She lived a full life as a devoted wife, mother, homemaker and worker in the banking sector for many years.

Diane is survived by her beloved husband Daniel and her three children Joelle Russo, Daniel Russo, Regina Russo-Moriarty, and her son-in-laws Noel Knott and Victor Moriarty; her grandchildren, Anthony Russo, Ethan Knott, Lilian Russo, Harley Knott, Vincent Moriarty, and Owen Moriarty; her sister-in-law Maryann Alberico, and many nephews and nieces. All of whom she loved dearly. She is precedded in death by her two siblings Vincent A. Esposito and Johanna Baresic.

Visitation will be held at the Wenk Funeral Home 21 Payne Avenue, Chatham NY on Wednesday, January 15th between the hours of 2pm--5pm & 7pm-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be held at St Mary's Church, 429 E Allen St, Hudson, NY 12534 at 10 am, January 16th.

She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts.
