Edward "Teddy"
F. Devlin
Sep 24, 1962 — Jul 28, 2026
Edward "Teddy" Devlin, a cherished soul and beloved family man, passed away peacefully on July 28, 2026, at the age of 63. Born on September 24, 1962, in Queens, Teddy was the treasured son of Edward Devlin and Ellen Gibson. He was also raised with 13 beloved siblings. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Laura Devlin, with whom he shared a lifetime of beautiful memories and unwavering love since their marriage on July 26th.
Teddy spent his life dedicated to his family and his work. As a skilled chef and dietary aid specialist, he found joy in nourishing others, both in body and spirit. His culinary talents were a reflection of his generous heart, always eager to share a meal and a warm smile. In addition to his culinary career, Teddy lent his capable hands as a plumber in his father in law's business, John Roman Plumbing and Heating, embodying his family's legacy of service and commitment to the community.
Known for his unyielding dedication to his family, Teddy was a devoted father to Jennifer Cascioli and Kimberly Devlin. He was also a proud grandfather to four adoring grandchildren, with whom he shared countless treasured moments. Whether it was a trip to the park, a visit to the mall, or an adventure at a kids' expo, Teddy always made time for the little joys that meant the world to his family. His love for cooking extended to his passion for gardening, where he found peace and fulfillment in nurturing life from the soil.
Teddy's selflessness and thoughtfulness were the hallmarks of his character. He was a man who consistently went above and beyond for those he loved, offering help without hesitation and a listening ear to anyone in need. His legacy is one of kindness and compassion, leaving an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew him.
As we honor Teddy's life, we find comfort in knowing that his spirit lives on in the memories we cherish and the love he shared so freely. In keeping with his family's wishes, a Celebration of Life will be held to celebrate Teddy's life. This will be set and announced at a later date.
Edward "Teddy" Devlin's warmth and generosity will be deeply missed, but his love and legacy will continue to inspire us all. For on-line condolences, visit wenkfuneralhome.com
