Edward A. Wadsworth, 85, died Sunday, at home in New Lebanon Born December 8, 1928 in Kinderhook, he is the son of the late Jarard D. and Mildred (Tiffany) Wadsworth He was a Navy Veteran serving on the USS Gainard during the Korean Conflict. He held membership in both the VFW and American Legion. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 294. An avid hunter and fisherman, he was a Charter Member of the Kinderhook Sportsman's Club. He played baseball, basketball, horseshoes, and bowling. He loved horseracing, owned several horses, and was a member of the Yankee Quarterhorse Racing Association. Predeceased by his sister, Dorothy Stever, and brother, Gordon Wadsworth, he is survived by his four children: Lori Wood, Connie (Harry) Redgrave , Douglas (Mary Ellen) Wadsworth, and Leland (Vicki) Wadsworth, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
