Elizabeth Cornell Kingler at the age of 102 formally of East Chatham died Thursday at Barnwell Health Facilities Valatie,N.Y. Mrs. Klingler born September 2,1907 in Pleasantville, N.Y. is the daughter of the late Harold Barclay and Esther Cornell (Bent) Cornell. She attended Pleasantville Schools and graduated from Ballard Secretarial School in N.Y.C. and was employed for the First National Bank of Pleasantville, N.Y. In 1960 She with her husband the late Harry Klingler (2005) moved to East Chatham, N.Y. Mrs. Klingler was a member of the St Peter's Presbyterian Church in Spencertown, N.Y. where she served as Elder, Deacon and served on the Women's Guild. She is survived by a son Richard C. Klingler and wife Betsy of East Chatham, Daughter Jane (Klingler) Bervy and husband Serge Sr. of Austerlitz,N.Y. 5 Grandsons, Edmund Klingler of Ghent, James Klingler of Chatham, N.Y. Richard Klingler and wife Jennifer of Chatham, N.Y. Serge Bervy Jr. and wife Pamela of Austerlitz, N.Y. Greg Bervy and wife Lynn of Red Lodge, Montana, 3 Granddaughters Abigail Klingler Horn and husband Robert of East Chatham, N.Y. Elizabeth Bervy Walters and Husband Michael of Austerlitz, N.Y. and Susan Bervy Nesbitt and husband Richard of Austerlitz, N.Y. Survived also by 18 Great Grandchildren. Besides her husband She was predeceased by Brothers Harold Cornell and Dr. Carleton Cornell, and sister Mary Cornell Clark. Memorial service will be held Saturday October 17, 2:00pm from the St Peter's Presbyterian Church Spencertown, N.Y. Inurnment will be in the Spencertown Cemetery.
