Elynor M. Fairall 92, longtime resident of Averill Park, Chatham and Austerlitz, N.Y. and a beloved inspiration to all who knew her, died suddenly Monday at her home in New Bern, N.C. She was the widow of former Times Union editor Glenn M. Fairall, who died in 1992. She is survived by a daughter, Joeth Barlas of Carlisle, Ma. 2 Grandsons, William Michael Fairall and his wife Marissa Moriarty of Austerlitz, Nuri Barlas of Bedford, Ma. A Granddaughter Alexis McDonald of Canaan, N.Y. She is also survived by Six Great-Grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son Glenn Michael Fairall, a daughter Merry Fairall and a brother John Mucha of Davenport, Iowa. Calling hours will be Sunday evening 6:30pm - 8:00pm.
