George Henry Clarkson 95 , born in Dover Plains, NY. Moved to Chatham in 1929.  He was a Veteran from 1943 to 1946. Husband to Eleanor Barzyk Clarkson. Happily married for over 50 years.
His spirit is carried by 3 daughters Grace Theresa Friss , Dianna Main and Susan Monroe , 7 grandchildren , 8 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
He also always donated to the disabled American Veterans. He was also a member of the Ghent VFW 5933. He was an avid cook and enjoyed going out to eat at diners. He will forever live in our hearts. A private memorial service will be held from the Wenk Funeral Home Chatham. Memorials may be made to the Disabled American Veterans 113 Holland Ave. Rm C308-5  Albany, New York 12208.
