Harold Roger Silvernale "Tookie" of Spencertown, N.Y. died Saturday at Columbia Memorial Hospital. Mr. Silvernale son of the late Ronald Judson and Mary (Fenn) Silvernale was born August 21, 1927 in Sharon, Connecticut. His early years were spent in Millerton, N.Y.  Took (Tookie) was a loving husband, Father, Grandfather and just recently Great Grandfather and friend. He will be missed beyond words. Harold was a U.S. Army Veteran having served during WWII. He retired from the First National Stores after being employed for 47 years in the Meat Department as a Butcher and Manager. He was an avid golfer, fisherman and enjoyed his hunting days at Mount Riga Upper Camp in Dutchess County with his longtime friends. " It is the simple things of life that make living worthwhile, the sweet fundamental things such as love and duty, work and rest and living close to nature".
