Inga Elizabeth (Betty) Cobb age 101 formally of Spencertown, N.Y. died Sunday at Bethany Gardens Nursing Home in Rome, N.Y. Mrs. Cobb born November 14,1908 in Staten Island, N.Y. is the daughter of the late Nils and Anna (Aanensen) Nilsen. She with her husband the late Edward Bert Cobb (1980) lived in Pittsfield, Ma. from 1956 until 1964 wherebye they moved to Spencertown, N.Y. Mrs. Cobb was a Medical Secretary for many years and later was employed with the N.Y.S. Dept of Finance in Albany, N.Y. and later for Dept of Social Services in Albany where she retired from. She was a member of the Martindale Community Gospel Church. Besides her husband she was predeceased by a son Bert Cobb. She is survived by Son Bruce Cobb of Addison, Vt. Daughter Beverly Mesick of Rome,N.Y. 10 Grandchildren, Gayle Mesick , Kim and husband Bob Costello , Scott Mesick , Jody Mesick , Jeremy and wife Carol Cobb, Bart and wife Patricia Cobb, Nathaniel and wife Wendy Cobb Rebekkah and husband Steve Nardell, Andrew and Tracey Cobb. Survived also by 14 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Friday 11:00am from the Wenk Funeral Home Chatham, Spring interment will be in the West Stockbridge Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorials may be made to a Charity of one's choice.
