James B. Hanson 47 of Canaan,N.Y. died Sunday in Canaan . Mr. Hanson born January 20, 1966 in Hudson, N.Y. is the son of William A. and Judith (Hatch) Hanson both of Canaan, He graduated from Chatham High School Class of 1985. He was employed with Chester Municipal Light in Chester,Ma. as head of line dept. for 6 years and then He was employed for the Western Mass Electric Co. division of Northeast Utilities. As lineman foreman for 9 years. Mr. Hanson was member of the I.B.E.W. #455 , a member of the Canaan Rifle Club. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed fishing. Besides his parents William and Judith Hanson of Canaan, he is survived by his wife of 25 years Natalie (Buhler) Hanson of Canaan, Daughter Morgan A. Hanson, Sons Garrett R. and Christopher J. Hanson all of Canaan, Brother Kenneth and wife Brenda Hanson of Great Falls, Mt. Sister Elizabeth and husband Jeffrey Keefner of Canaan. His maternal grandmother Margaret Hatch of Canaan, Mother-in-Law Carol Hargis and her husband Jim of New Lebanon, N. Y. Father-in-Law Charles R. Buhler and wife Rita of Cincinnati, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Friday 10:00am from St Peter's Presbyterian Church Spencertown, N. Y. Calling hours will be Thursday evening from 6 -9:00pm from the Wenk Funeral Home Chatham.
