Joan Florence Mlincsek, 85, of Dallas, Georgia, passed away on March 16, 2024, from natural causes.

Joan was born on June 23, 1938, in New York, NY, the oldest of two children to Irving Theise and Florence Mason. She had an older brother James Theise.

Joan grew up in the New York City borough of the Bronx and at one time was a "hand-model" for Palmolive dish soap.  She met her spouse, John Nicholas Mlincsek and the "love of her life" at the age of fifteen and when betrothed in 1957, they embarked on a journey for 53 years.  Joan was a resident of East Chatham, New York for over half a century where she was the consummate mother who flourished in the role of raising her three sons and maintaining the peace in a nine hundred square foot home.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, her brother and her husband John.  She is survived by her sons: John James Mlincsek (Jennifer), Richard John Mlincsek (Jennifer), Kenneth John Mlincsek (Linda), grandchildren Christopher Brooks Mlincsek (Allyson), Brendan John Mlincsek (Kylie), Kristina Joan Mlincsek (Sidney MaRay), Leanne Victoria Mlincsek, Olivia Mae Mlincsek and great granddaughter Layla Jean Mlincsek.

Joan will be interred at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, NY along with her husband John. Services will be private.
