John K. Ford, 50, of Austerlitz, New York, passed away April 16, 2021, leaving behind many family and friends. He was born May 23,1970, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, the son of Hannah Murray and Paul H. Ford Jr. (May Decker). John attended Chatham High School until 1988 where he then went on to get his GED. Besides his parents, John is survived by his two sons, Jacob Ford and Jordon Ford of Chatham; stepdaughter, Kailynn Akin of Chatham; brother, Paul Ford (Barbara); brother Scott Ford (Shawni); sister Heather Bell (James); and former partner Christina Almstead. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He enjoyed racing his self-built race cars at Lebanon Valley Speedway, constructing houses, and spending time with his family. John was a proud father of his children and spent much of his time cheering them on at sporting events, coaching, and at the starting gates of motocross tracks. He did all of this with a smile on his face, and that's what will be missed the most.
