John H. Grube Jr. 71 of Spencertown died Thursday at his residence with his family at his side following a lengthy illness. Mr. Grube born July 9,1938 in Staten Island, N.Y. is the son of the late John H. and Grace (Lane) Grube Sr. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr.Grube was a retired N.Y.C. firefighter and relocated to upstate in 1992. He is survived by his wife of 48 years,. Eleanor (Massaro) Grube, Spencertown,N.Y., 3 Children, Susan and husband Vincent Marcinak Spencertown, N.Y., Linda and husband Robert Minunni Wappingers Falls, N.Y. Richard and wife Cindy Grube of Clinton Township, N.J. Grandchildren Amanda, Jennifer, Nicole, Jessica, George, Emily, Ashley and Kyle. Also survived by a Neice and Nephew, Diane and Brian Grube.
