John (Jack) H. Doyle Jr. 72 of Red Rock died Saturday at St Peter's Hospital. Jack is the son of the late John H. and Bessie (Casey) Doyle Sr. born June 17,1936 in Chatham,New York. He attended the one room school in Red Rock and graduated from Chatham High School. He also graduated from Cornell 1957 with a degree in Agricultural. Since then, He and his brother and son have owned and operated a dairy farm in Red Rock . Jack was a communicant of St James R.C. Church, member of the Columbia County Cooperative Extension, Dairymen's League. He served on the Chatham Central School Board and Red Rock Volunteer Fire Dept. and a member of the East Chatham Grange. Jack is survived by his companion for many years Ethel Jones of Red Rock, Son David Doyle of Red Rock Brother Joseph and wife Nancy Doyle of Chatham, Nephews Thomas, Patrick and Niece Joanne Doyle. Funeral Service will held Thursday 11:00am from the St James R.C. Church. Interment will be in the St James Cemetery. Calling hours will be Wednesday evening 4-7pm from the Wenk Funeral Home Chatham.
