John (Jack) Alden Wilson, Sr. of Chatham, New York passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on Friday morning, January 26, 2018.

Jack was born in Hudson, New York on July 31, 1937 to Crissy Wilson and Marjorie  (Ridgeway) Wilson. He was a graduate of Hudson Highschool. Jack served in the United States Army and retired from Columbia Memorial Hospital in Hudson, NY. He was a previous member of Chatham Reformed Church and present member of Ghent Reformed Church. Jack was an avid sportsman and lifetime member of the Kinderhook Sportsmans club.

He is surivived by his loving wite of 53 years, Sandra Ainslie Wilson and sons John Jr.. (Brenda) and Robert (Michelle). Was a loving Grandfather (Poppy)  to Riley Wilson and Hunter Wilson. He is also survived by his sisters Linda Foster and Susan Reno.

Calling hours will be at the Wenk Funeral Home on Tuesday January 30th at 10:00 am with survices to follow at 11:00.
