Jon R. Mink of Edgewood Acres Chatham died suddenly Thursday at Albany Medical Center. Mr. Mink born June 23,1950 in Hudson,N.Y. is the son of the later Floyd and Evelyn (Ogden) Mink. He graduated from Chatham High School . He was a veteran of the U. S. Army having served in Vietnam. Having lived most of his life in Chatham,He was employed as Quality Control Supervisor for Novapak in Matindale, N.Y. for over 20 years. He was a member of the Ghent V..F.W. Post #5933. and was an avid sports fan. He is survived by his brothers Charles E. Mink and wife Ann of Long Beach, Ms. And David D. Mink of Long Beach, Ms. Survived also by 11 Nieces and Nephews. Funeral Service will be held Thursday 10:00am from the Wenk Funeral Home Chatham, Interment will be in the Mellenville Union Cemetery. Calling hours are Wednesday from 6- 8pm from the Funeral Home.
