Kathleen "Cathy" May Dodson Tullar, a proud legal immigrant and a naturalized citizen of the United States of America, was caring, loving, devoted, doting, gluing (Gorilla glue Variety) wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, coach mentor, mentee, lover of crossword puzzles.  She left this world on October 4 2022.

She was born to Thomas Dodson and Helen "Nellie" Robinson Dodson on May 14 1936 in Chatham, England. She met Benjamin Tullar in Oxford, England in February 1954 and married on April 30 1955 which was the start of an idyllic, serene, peaceful (alright, tumultuous) and beautiful 67 years Cathy is survived by her 6 children- Gilly, Kenneth (Kristen), June (George) Matthew, Bruce (merrie) and Paula; and preceded in death by her son Daniel Scott Tullar. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren- Katura, Robert, Iris, Joshua, Ethan, Caitlin and Danyelle and 5 great grandchildren- Connell, Sophia, Elias, Daniel and Bran as well as many, many extended family members.

Cathy had a huge heart- she loved her family which extended beyond her immediate world.  She took all of her children's friends in and extended her lover to the community and treated everyone as if they were her own family. She successfully ran  The Cottage Restaurant in East Chatham Ny for 28 years, many of her children worked alongside her but her primary partners were her devoted daughter Paula and her loving husband

Calling hours will be Monday October 10, 4 -6pm from the Wenk funeral home Chatham, New York a memorial service will follow at 6pm.
