Kevin (Uncle Kev/Pop) Darcy, 65, of New Lebanon, NY, passed away unexpectedly after an acute illness on July 13, 2026, at Strong Memorial Hospital. Born on December 8, 1960, in Springfield, VT. He is the son of Constance Darcy and the late William Darcy. He did many jobs but was self-employed as a plumber. He was an avid sportsman, loved anything outdoors and a proud grandfather. He loved his family and friends fiercely and would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. Kevin is survived by his daughters Tara Darcy, Megan Godfroy (Kyle), Samantha Darcy (James), and Daughter-in-law Heather Darcy. His loving girlfriend Susan Earle. His 9 grandchildren: Patrick (Ondrea), Alexis, Tyler, Kayden, Dominic, McKenna, Rhett, Killian, Reeseand 2 more on the way. His 8 Siblings: Teri, Michael (Tammie), Joseph (Carol), Jessica (Daren), Peter (BobbiJo), Martha (Joseph), Dave (Teresa), Paul (Janet) and his many nieces, nephews and cousins. Kevin is also predeceased by his wife Brenda Darcy, son Andrew Darcy, and son-in-law Adam Crawley. Calling hours will be held July 26, 2026, at Wenk Funeral Home in Chatham, NY from 11am - 1pm. A celebration of life will be held afterwards at the New Lebanon Fire House starting at 3pm.
