Margaret N. Hatch 95 of Canaan died Friday at Community Hospice at Columbia Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Hatch born November 18, 1917 in Bloomfield, Ct. is the daughter of the late William B. and Mary (Howard) Nocker Sr. She graduated from Chatham High School and Bishop Memorial School of Nursing in Pittsfield, Ma. 1939. Mrs. Hatch was an R.N. for the Berkshire Farm in Canaan for 16 years, The Rip VanWinkle Clinic for 4 years. She did private nursing and then retired from Pine Haven Nursing Home in Philmont. Mrs. Hatch was Past Matron of Unity Star O.E.S. of New Lebanon, member of the Alumni Ass. at Bishop Memorial School of Nursing and a member of the St Peter's Presbyterian Church Spencertown. She is survived by 3 Children Lewis A.Hatch Jr. of Canaan, Howard H. Hatch of Sharon Springs N.Y. , Judith Hanson of Canaan, Survived also by 10 grandchildren, 27 Great Grandchildren and 2 Great Great Grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Lewis A.Hatch Sr., Grandson, James B.Hanson, Brother William B. Nocker Jr. and an infant Daughter. Calling hour will be Wednesday from 10 - 11:00am with a funeral service to follow at 11:00am from the Wenk Funeral Home Chatham with the Reverend Drew Paton officiating, Interment will be in the Canaan Cemetery.
