Margaret (Peggy) Padula passed away Friday at her home in Chatham with her loved ones at her side. Peggy was born March 15,1935 to Kenneth and Helen (Binouske) Scott in Ware, Ma. She grew up in Barre Plains, Ma. and was an active youth along with her brothers John and James. Upon graduating from High School, Peggy entered the U.S. Navy and expanded her horizons. She married and had four Children who love her dearly, Linda, Laura, Anthony and Margaret. She is survived by 3 Grandchildren Anthony, Stephanie and Palmer and 2 Great Grandchildren Damien and Rylee, Daughter-in-law Betty Ann and son-in-law Jamie. Peggy was vivacious with a beautiful smile and wonderful sense of humor that brought joy to all who knew and loved her. She loved her books and the library. She was an animal lover ,enjoyed nature and taking long walks. Peggy worked at the St James R.C. Church Rectory in Chatham and sang in the choir for many years where she made a lot of friends and that is how we will remember her. She loved life and it showed in how she touched peoples lives. A gathering of relatives and friends will be held Tuesday Feb. 4, 4-6pm from the Wenk Funeral Home Chatham, Private inurnment will be in the spring.
