Marian B. Kern peacefully passed away the morning of May 6 ^th , at her home of 75 years, in the town of Austerlitz NY.

Born April 14 ^th 1929 in Harpersfield, Delaware County, NY.  She lived most of her childhood in Breakabeem, NY.  She later lived a short time in Schenectady before marrying her husband Willard Kern.

Marian worked various jobs throughout her life, and raised three daughters, Violet Robbin, Nancy Hallenbeck, Ann Ordway and one son Willard (Woody) Kern.

Over the  years Marian was very active in her Church in Spencertown, including teaching Sunday school.  She was always willing to help whomever needed an extra hand and developed many friendships through the years.

In recent years Marian enjoyed sitting on her porch watching the birds and squirrels at her feeders, while listening to music and visiting with family and friends.

Marian is survived by her children, 9 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren,  5 great-great-grandchildren and her brother B. Judson Gates and many nieces and nephews.

Pre-deceased by her husband Willard Kern, mother Mildred Vroman, brother William Gates, sisters Lucretia King and Helen Trusdell.
