Marion Allison Morrison went to be with her beloved husband Bill on October 4, at Ghent, N.Y. Marion was born on July 8,1923 in New York City. She grew up in Flushing, N.Y. to the daughter of Howard and Gladys Dippel. She married the love of her life on September 24, 1943. Immediately after their marriage they began travel to several Army Air Corps bases in the United States while her husband trained as a bombardier on B17 airplanes. He left for assignments overseas and Marion took a secretarial job at Doubleday and Company in Garden City, N.Y. after graduating from Berkley Llwelyn Secretarial School. At the end of WWII, Lt. Morrison was honorably discharged from the service and went to work for H.O. Penn Machinery Co. . Marion supported her husband's career and entertained many customers and colleagues at their home in East Moriches, N.Y. She was a gracious hostess and help mate. Marion is survived by her Daughter Susan and her husband Colby Fahey of Ticonderoga, N.Y. Son William (Brud) Morrison and his wife Susan of Freeport, Maine, She is also survived by four Grandchildren, Will Fahey, Katy Carr, Sarah Doran and Meredith Black. And Eight Great Grandchildren, Andrew Fahey, Nathaniel Fahey, Jillian Carr, Bradley Carr, Ryan Carr, Olivia Doran, Allison and Aubrey Black. At Marion's Request, there will be no calling hours, Private graveside service for family will be held at the Kinderhook Cemetery.
