Mark K. Newton 61 of Red Rock, N.Y. died peacefully with his family by his side on Sunday, April 8,at Albany Medical Center. Husband of Jennifer Wallin Newton, Beloved father of Melinda, Erin, Ryan, Amanda and Alexis and brother to George Fox, Tim, Tom and Herbert Newton and sister Peggy.  He was also a wonderful Grandfather of 10. Army Specialist (E-4) Newton continued to serve his country through volunteering as a past member and Chief of Red Rock Fire Co. and past EMS Captain of Chatham Rescue Squad, who was deployed to New York City during the 9/11 terrorist attack.  He was the current EMS Captain of Canaan Protective Fire Co.  Mark was an avid sportsman and good friend who will be greatly missed by many.
