Mike graduated from Chatham High and enlisted I. the United States Navy . It was there he became a cook. He was currently  employed as a cook at The Blue Plate in Chatham NY.

He is predeceased  by his Father Francis Baker and his Grandmother Esther Van Alstyne. He is survived by his Mother Margaret (Peg) Mead, Sister  Esther Pitkin  (Cory),

Brother  Christian Leahy and numerous Aunts Uncles cousins, nieces and nephews and other family members .Mike aka Gino by many had 3 families ,his blood relatives and family his "Blue Plate" family and This greatest love (besides his mom)his Rocky Horror  Family.  No services are scheduled at this time. His family requests in lieu of flowers,  donations be made in Mikes honor to Chatham Animal Haven Chatham NY
