Chatham: On Sunday Aug. 18 ^th 2019 Michael Joseph Bost 63 of Hudson lost a brief battle with lung cancer at home surrounded by his family.

Born with his twin Michelle on May 29, 1956 in Hudson he was the son of the late Charles E. (Squeaky) and Ethyl J (Evans) Bost Sr.

He attended school in the Hudson and Ockawamick School districts. He was employed by various local painting companies and went on to become proficient in the commercial/industrial painting arena.

Michael loved all children. He was very animated and always the fun Uncle to his nieces, nephews and then their children. He will be remembered for his beautiful smile and his ability to bring smiles to the faces and laughter to the souls of all who met him. Everyone he loved was blessed with a unique nickname from him.

The shining star of his life was his only child, his son Michael Whitney of Jacksonville Fl.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Curtis Bost, brother in laws Charles Jackson and Sylvester Lowery.

Survivors include his twin sister Michelle (Jeannie) Bost of Kingston, sister Sandra Lowery of Hudson. brothers; Charles Jr. and Granville (Grant) Bost of Hudson. 5 nephews; Nate & Jason Bost; Charles Bost III Jeremy Bost and Tyrone Vandemark. 4 Nieces Adia Bost, Brianna Vandemark, Tiffany Bost and his "Cupcake" Amber Bost-Snyder . Michael is also survived by a host of great nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family would like to thank Hospice for their support and his niece Amber for her unwavering love and gentle, compassionate care of  "Unc". It made the difference. HOLLA!

Family and friends will gather for a Graveside service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday August 31 in the family plot in Cedar Park Cemetery, Hudson (near the pond) All are invited to join them at a Celebration of Life to follow at 1903 Rt. 203 #85, Chatham
