With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved father, Myron H. Koch, MD.

Dr. Koch, age 88, of Ghent, NY, passed away on Wednesday, November 6, 2024. Born in the mid-1930s in New York, he dedicated his life to the practice of psychiatry and treatment of trauma, providing compassionate care to his patients and everyone he knew. He is survived by his daughter and son, and his two cherished granddaughters.

Dr. Koch was known for his empathy, his commitment to mental health, and his unwavering love for his family and friends. For those who would like to pay their respects, there will be an open viewing at the Wenk Funeral Home in Chatham, NY, on Saturday, November 9th, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Myron will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all of those whose lives he touched.
