Nancy Ann Menegio, age 91, passed away on May 28, 2026, at Our Lady of Mercy in Guilderland, New York.

Born on June 13, 1934, in New York City, Nancy was the daughter of John Menegio and Mamie Sclafani Menegio. Soon after, the family moved to Chatham where she spent the remainder of her childhood. She would later live in East Greenbush, and Ballston Spa.

Nancy dedicated many years of service to the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles, where she worked as a data entry machine operator. Through her work, she contributed to the daily operations of state government and built a career marked by dedication and reliability.

A devoted animal lover, Nancy had a special place in her heart for greyhound dogs and spent years rescuing and caring for them. Her compassion for animals reflected the kindness and care she shared throughout her life. She will be laid to rest with her beloved dog, Isaac, who passed away on April 7, 2007, a testament to the enduring bond they shared.

Nancy was predeceased by her parents and by her siblings, Mario, John, and Josie. Though she had no spouse or children, she was a cherished member of her extended family and will be remembered with love by her nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Nancy's life was one of quiet devotion—to her faith, family, work, and the animals she loved. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew her and in the many lives she touched through her kindness and compassion.
