Nicholas Kounovsky passed away on Thursday, January 2nd after a brief battle with cancer. Nicholas was born in New York City to Nicholas Senior and Galena Kounovsky on February 19, 1950. He spent his life in construction, most recently at L&B Furniture in Hudson, NY. Nicholas is survived by his wife, Pamela Raup-Kounovsky; three children: Anna, Phillippa, and Peter; a sister, Kyra West, and her husband Danny West in Friendship, Maine; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews in the US and France.
