Chatham, NewYork , Olympia Christo Eames age 90 left this world for the next on Sunday December 30,2012. Born in Jamestown,N.Y. on April 24,1922, she is the daughter of the late Sotir and Vasilo ( John) Christo. Olympia married Frederic Boyton Eames on June 30 ,1947 and their marriage was blessed with a great and true love. She worked for the Chatham Bakery for years and later was a cashier for the Joy Department Store in Rensselaer,N.Y. where she retired. Olympia was a devoted wife and mother. She was predeceased by her husband Fred her brothers Peter and Andrew. She is survived by her 2 loving sons Calvin C. Eames and George F. Eames and his wife Julie She is also survived by her brothers Chris and wife Pat Christo and James Christo. She is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews. A calling hour will be held Thursday January 3 from 10:00 - 11:00am with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 from the Wenk Funeral Home Chatham. Interment will be in the Chatham Rural Cemetery.
