Pamela Brock Lappies, freelance developmental editor for educational publishers, former teacher, and devoted spouse of Jeffrey Lappies, mother of Daniel and Cristian Lappies and grandmother of Eli Lappies, passed away June 9th at her home. She was 68.

Born in Bloomington, IL, she was the daughter of Elizabeth and Sanford Brock. She was a graduate of Horlick High School in Racine, WI. Later she was a 1972 Bachelor's Degree graduate of Macalester College, St. Paul. MN.

Pam married Jeff Lappies in 1973 in Golden Valley, NC.

She was a deacon of the Canaan Congregational Church.

She is survived by her husband Jeffrey, sons Daniel and Cristian and grandson Eli. She is also survived by her sister and brother-in-law Sandra and Vic Ramsey and step-brothers Duane and Baird Washburn and step-sister Linda Thrasher and their families. She is also survived by her mother-in-law Jane Lappies and her sister-in-law Sally Lappies.

Contributions in her name can be made to the Canaan Congregational Church.
