Paul H.
Ford Jr.
Jan 11, 1941 — Mar 16, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Paul Henry Ford, Jr., 84, of Chatham, NY. Paul was surrounded by his loving family when he went to meet his Lord and Savior on March 16, 2025. Paul was a cherished son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend to many. Paul was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, '59 – '63, member of the American Legion, and bell ringer for the Salvation Army. He enjoyed Sprint car racing, M&Ms, listening to Bluegrass Gospel music, and relaxing on his front porch.
Paul will be greatly missed by his beloved longtime companion May Decker. He is also survived by his children, Paul (Barb) Ford, Scott (Shawni) Ford, John Ford (predeceased), and Heather (James) Bell and May's sons James and Craig Decker and their families, his beloved grandchildren Calvin, Jarrod, Scotty, Shelby, Jacob, Jordon, Kailynn, Hannah and their families, his great-grandchildren, Hannah Ford former wife and mother of his children, and numerous extended family and loved ones.
We welcome all who knew him to join us in celebrating Paul, a man who was loved deeply and will be greatly missed. This will be held at Wenk's Funeral Home on Sunday March 23, 2025 from 1:00 -3:00 PM, where we will gather to honor his memory and rejoice in the promise of everlasting life.
2 Timothy 4:7—"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
