Richard J. Green (Dick) 82 of East Chatham died Friday at Albany Medical Center Mr.Green born September 19,1934 in Waterville,N.Y. is the son of the late Richard and Phyllis (Ward) Green He Graduated from Chatham High School having  worked at Columbia Box Corp while attending school. Mr. Green is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp having served from 1954 to 1956 In 1953 He married Dawn (Gimlich) of East Chatham having been married for 63 years. Employed with AT&T in Albany for many years  and then Owned and operated  Dick Green's Plumbing and Electric for many years. He served as Commander of the Chatham American Legion Post #42  At the age of 58 ,he entered into his first marathon(Marine) and then completed 220 Marathons in his career. Mr. Green is survived by his wife Dawn , Daughter Marci Green of East Chatham, and a grandson Dennis Packet 2 half sisters, Jane Davis of York, Pa. Karen Wiers of Tully, N.Y. Richard was predeceased by his Daughter Lori ,and Son Richard  and Sister Phyllis Boyer. There are no services, Memorials may be made to the Columbia Greene Humane Society 125 Humane Society Rd.
