Richard B. Hogle 80 of New Lebanon, died Monday peacefully at home. Mr. Hogle born September 21,1931 in Ticonderoga, N.Y. is the son of the late Harvey Ross and Nora (Thatcher) Hogle. He retired from the New York State Thruway Authority after 30 years of service and was actively involved in his community, participating in the East Chatham Fire Company, the local Little League Baseball, as well as being active in local politics. He was Past Master of the Columbia Lodge #98 F.& A.M.Chatham He is survived by his wife Miriam (Belote) Hogle of New Lebanon, N.Y. four children, Richard R. Hogle of Valatie, Catherine and husband Noel Williams of East Chatham, N.Y. , David T. Hogle of New Lebanon, and Jeanne Hogle of Maplewood, N.J. Brothers William of Ticonderoga, N.Y., Donald Hogle of Scandia, Mn. Sister Helen Gibbs of Ticonderoga, N.Y. Survived also by ten grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Friday 10:00am from the Wenk Funeral Home Chatham, Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery in New Concord,N. Y. Calling hours are Thursday evenng 5-7pm.
