Sara A. Elliott 84 of Old Chatham died Sunday at her home. Mrs. Elliott born October 14, 1936 in Pittsfield, Ma. Is the daughter of the late Winthrop and Hilda (Steuerwald) Foss. She graduated from New Lebanon High School in 1954 and soon there after met her husband John C. Elliott Jr. of old Chatham and whom been married for 67 years. She resided in Chatham most of her life having been employed at Chatco in Chatham or many years. Sara had a love for pleasure horses as well as partnering with her husband with the harness racing horses. Besides her husband John C.  Elliott of Old Chatham, She is survived by three children Shawn Elliott of Canaan, N.Y. Jay D. Elliott of Philmont and Daughter Lisa Friss of Saugerties, N.Y.  and a Sister Marcia Jensen of Canaan. Mrs. Elliott was predeceased by an infant son Joel D.
