Shirley Packard of East Chatham NY passed away peacefully on March 31, 2018. At Columbia Memorial Hospital

Born August 18,1942 In Canaan, Ct. She is the daughter of the late Irving Hankey Sr. and the late Hattie (Davis) Muller

She is survived by her children John Palmer Jr (Dawn McLaughlin) , Bonnie (Ray) Hall

Bob (Tammi) Palmer  , Hattie (Phil) Markham , Nancy (Felix) Paul. Her step children

Sally Packard and David Packard. and thought of Stephen and Richard Ball as her sons

She is pre-deceased by her son Richard Palmer.

She leaves behind 18 Grandchildren and 15 Great Grandchildren and was pre-deceased

By her namesake Granddaughter Shirley Palmer

She leaves behind her long time love Donald Packard of Lyndonville VT. And was pre-deceased

By her first husband John Palmer Sr.

She also leaves her siblings Wanda Quenneville, Pat Keefner, Joan Marks , Richard Hankey,

And pre-deceased by Irving Hankey Jr.  she also leaves behind 3 step siblings from her Moms

Second marriage to Theadore Muller.

Shirley enjoyed poker night with the girls , and numerous other card games that she played

On a daily basis with her personal assistance who took wonderful care of her she had a special

Place in her heart for her Aide Nicole , along with family who would visit and play some 9 and 5

Shirley was an avid animal lover , and had a daily routine spoiling the dogs and cats , from

Getting wet soggy kisses from Buddy or Baby the cat tapping her on the hand asking where's

My bite Grandma and always saving at least a bite for each of them who were usually impatient

Peanut , Denny and Mo let her know they were waiting .

She was a loyal Red Sox fan , we did try to convert her to be a Yankees fan when she moved

To New York "didn't happen" .

Upon Shirley's request' there will be a small gathering at her resting place at another date the family will notify close relatives
