Steven William Christopher Whiteman, beloved son of Meghan Rizzi Whiteman of East Chatham, N.Y. and Paul C. Whiteman of Albany, N.Y. died unexpectedly at home August 5th 2017.

Steven was born in Hudson, N.Y. on October 30th 1995. He was a graduate of Chatham High School and was currently employed by McDonalds of Valatie N.Y.

Steven enjoyed music, cooking and spending time with family and friends. He was a great help to his grandparents William S. and Kathleen E. Rizzi of Canaan, NY and Paul and Dona Whiteman of Ghent, NY.

Steven is also survived by his sibling Vaughn Whiteman of East Chatham, and by his close blended family members, Robert Lagerwall of East Chatham and his children, Bryan, Tyler and Kylie. He will be sorely missed by his very close Aunt Cara and Uncle Eric Kiablick of Canaan N.Y. Survivors also include his great-grandmother, Joan P. Rueckheim of Old Chatham, NY and his paternal Aunts, Lynn Rippel of Ghent, NY and Jenny DeFranco of Slingerlands NY. Also, survived by a host of grief-stricken great Aunts, Uncles, dear cousins and friends.

Family and friends are invited to call at Wenk Funeral Home, Payne Ave in Chatham NY on Thursday, August 10th from 5-7pm with service immediately following.
