Vandalia "Vee" Joseph 48 of Chatham was received into the arms of the Lord Thursday at Albany Medical Center after a courageous battle with cancer. Mrs. Joseph born August 23,1960 in St Thomas Virgin Islands is the daughter of the late Mario and Dorothy (Hendricks) Evans. Vee obtained her undergraduate degree from the Miami Memorial College and her masters degree from Cambridge College. She spent much of her life dedicated to children as an educator and community volunteer. Most importantly,she was a faithful servant of the Lord who touched all she encountered with her selfless gifts. She will be missed by many. Vee is survived by her loving husband of 24 years the Reverend Reginald Joseph , Pastor of Flatbrook Baptist Church and Hudson Baptist Church. Four devoted children, Reuel, Rachel, Rekem and Rephael Joseph, Sisters Voncelle Anthony, and Aneiece Evans Brothers, Preston and Deo Evans. Survived also by Several Nieces and Nephews. Calling hours will be Sunday 2-5pm from the Wenk Funeral Home Chatham and a Memorial Service to follow at 6:30 pm from the Calvary Assembly Atlantic Ave. Stottville, N.Y.
