Wallace (Wally) Charron 81 of Wake Forest N.C. and Chatham passed away Sunday August 4, 2024 Wally was born June 25, 1943 in Chatham. He graduated form Chatham High School in 1961 and already had steady work at the family market. He married, started, and raised his family in Chatham while eventually taking over the family business.  He and his wife chased their grandkids to North Carolina in 2009 and since then they have split time between Wake Forest and Chatham. Wally was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather and great grandfather who will be missed by all. He had an amazing smile, a great sense of humor and a huge heart. He was predeceased by his beloved son Timmy Charron.   He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Joan (nee: Davis) Charron, son Jim Charron and wife Sue Charron, Grandsons, Timothy (Libby) Charron, Nelson (Allison Burkett) Charron, Chad Charron, Chase Charron, as well as his beautiful great granddaughter, Addilynn Calling hours will be Sunday September 1 from the Wenk Funeral Home Chatham 3-5pm.
