William H. Darcy 73 of New Lebanon died Tuesday at Berkshire Medical Center Pittsfield, Ma. with his children at his side following a brief illness. Mr. Darcy born September 2, 1940 in Ludlow ,Vt. Is the son of the late Gerald and Phyllis (Hill) Darcy. He graduated from Black River High School in Ludlow and for several years was employed as a plumbing and heating technician for Martel Heating and Plumbing before moving to New Lebanon in 1972 where he became self -employed as Darcy Plumbing & Heating for many years. He was an avid race car fan, a self taught and talented guitar player and enjoyed attending casinos. Mr. Darcy is survived by his wife, Terry (DeBella) Darcy of New Lebanon, Children Kevin Darcy, Michael Darcy, Joseph Darcy of New Lebanon and Peter Darcy of West Lebanon Teresa Darcy, and Martha Esposito of New Lebanon, and Jessica Kidney of West Stephentown, N.Y. Step Children Paul and David Anderson of Webster, N.Y. and Michael and Thomas Ozga both of New Lebanon, Survived also by a sister Geraldine Sabol of Rutland, Vt. 14 Grandchildren and 6 Great Grandchildren.
