William "Billy"  Henry Mason III, 56, of Chatham, New York, passed away unexpectedly due to heart attack on October 4th, 2019 in Chatham. Billy was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts to William Henry Mason and Joyce Elizabeth Lott on July 23rd, 1963. Billy was well-known and well-loved in his community. He was a character that always enjoyed a good laugh. Billy liked sports, music and spending time with family and friends. He was a competitive player, whether it be at trivia, board games, lawn games or billiards. He lived life at his own accord, and always loved to share a cold one with those who surrounded him. Billy is preceded in death by his mother, father and his sister Judy. Billy leaves behind his two sons, Mercury and Normando Mason and his daughter Amanda Jo Logan (Kyle); his sisters, Melinda Kerner (Chris) and Abby Mason (Peter Martino); his nieces and nephews; grandchildren; relatives, extended family, and numerous friends. The family of Billy wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the entire community for their overwhelming support and love during this time of mourning. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, October 10th, 2019 at Wenk Funeral Home. Burial to follow at St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Valatie, NY.
