William W. Miller Jr. 77 of Ghent died Wednesday at Community Hospice of Columbia Memorial Hospital Hudson,N.Y. Mr. Miller born August 24,1931 in Chatham,N.Y. is the son of the late William W. and Dora (Clarkson) Miller Sr. He was employed with Tree Preservation Co. in Hudson,N.Y. for 15 years as line trimmer and then he was employed as delivery truck driver with Paramount Oil Co, in Hudson for 10 years and for 10 years he was employed with the Town of Ghent Highway Dept.. Mr. Miller was a member of the Columbia Lodge #98 F.&A.M. Chatham, Life member of the North American Hunting Club, and life member of the N.R.A. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Betty (Williams) Miller of Ghent, Daughter Colleen M. and her husband Scott Puckett of Valatie, Son Robert J. Miller of Ghent, N.Y. Sister Virginia M. Holt of Chatham, N.Y. Survived also by Grandchildren Ryan and Taylor Puckett, Jaime Miller Leah Girand and Andrea Waltersdorf and 6 Great Grandchildren. Funeral Service will be held Saturday 11:00am from the Wenk Funeral Home Chatham, Interment will be in the Ghent Union Cemetery, Calling hours are Friday 5-7pm .
